Russian occupiers struck again in the Dnipropetrovsk region: two civilians injured

On May 13, Ukrainian security forces recorded another missile and drone attack by Russian aggressors on the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to the regional military administration, the tense situation remained tense throughout the day, as Russian forces once again employed a combined tactic — kamikaze drone attacks and artillery fire. Head of the regional military administration, Сергій Лисак, confirmed that the shelling was concentrated in several districts, including Nikopol, Pokrovsk, Marhanets, and Myriv communities. Specifically, the enemy used FPV drones capable of carrying explosive devices, as well as heavy artillery, which caused destruction and panic among the population. According to Сергій Лисак, as a result of the shelling, one man was wounded. He received necessary medical assistance and is currently being treated at home; his condition is satisfactory. The region also reported another incident — in the Novopavlivka community of Synelnykove district, another man was injured when a kamikaze drone struck. The victim was hospitalized in a moderate condition. In addition to human casualties, significant damage was caused to a private car near the site of the attack. As emphasized by the military administration, the shelling once again reached a high intensity, and the situation remains tense, with possible repeated missile attacks. Emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences and ensure the safety of the population. Local residents, during this difficult time, continue to be in a state of alert and are mobilizing to respond to any new developments. Ukrainian defense forces are expected to hold their positions and do everything possible to reduce the consequences of Russian attacks and protect civilians. State authorities urge residents of Dnipropetrovsk region to stay calm, monitor official reports, and observe safety rules. The President of Ukraine and military leadership have once again emphasized that the country's defense remains at a high level, but every citizen must stay alert. This news once again confirms that the war continues both in the east and the south of Ukraine, and that the enemy persists in deliberately destroying the peaceful lives of ordinary people. Local residents and defenders are doing everything possible to ensure safety, but hope for a swift return to peace remains more relevant than ever.
