According to the Ukrainian authorities, this attack resulted in the deaths of two civilians, while four others were injured of varying severity. This tragedy further confirms the high price paid by Kharkiv residents for the aggression of the Russian military, who continue their shelling even during peacetime. Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported on the scale of the tragedy in his Telegram channel and provided more details about the circumstances of this terrible incident. According to him, during the missile strike on the village of Nechvolodivka, a private house was destroyed, where the tragedy occurred. The 80-year-old man and the 70-year-old woman, who were in the house at the time, died from their wounds. Rescuers removed their bodies from under the rubble and debris using specialized equipment. In addition to the immediate victims, several people received injuries of varying severity. Specifically, an 88-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man were hospitalized with injuries requiring urgent medical assistance. Also injured were 67- and 83-year-old women who were affected by the enemy attack. This news from the Kharkiv region once again underscores the complexity and danger of the situation in the rear area, as well as the necessity of ensuring the safety of local residents. Last week, humanitarian aid trucks continued to arrive in the area; however, these efforts are often overshadowed by the ongoing threat of shelling from the enemy, who relentlessly employs this destructive tactic. The region’s inhabitants are once again on the brink of survival, facing yet another wave of destruction and loss. Currently, Ukrainian forces are taking all possible measures to evacuate the population, strengthen defenses, and prevent such tragedies in the future. Moreover, international organizations are calling for increased sanctions and more active support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression. Local authorities are urging residents to be cautious, avoid dangerous areas, and stay informed through official sources. The prompt work of rescue services and medical personnel helps to minimize casualties in emergency situations, but the tragedy in Nechvolodivka once again reminds us of the high cost of war and the urgent need to achieve peace as soon as possible.
