According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the period from May 13 to 15 will bring significant weather fluctuations for Ukrainians, predominantly involving rains, with some areas experiencing ground frosts at night, which may affect agricultural activities and residents' sensory perceptions. A considerable part of the country will remain within an atmospheric front zone. Meteorological data indicates that on the night of May 13, much of the territory will experience cool temperatures ranging from 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, with possible ground frosts down to 0–3 degrees. During the day, greenery and soil will warm up to 10–15 degrees, and in the south and east of the country, temperatures may rise up to +18°C. Winds during this period will change skillfully from northwest to southwest at speeds of 5–12 m/s. On May 15, in western and northern regions, gusts may reach 15–18 m/s, causing temporary atmospheric instability. As for Kyiv, on Wednesday, May 13, meteorologists forecast light rain with daytime temperatures around +15°C and nighttime lows of 5–7°C. Winds from the northwest will blow at speeds of 5–10 m/s. The following days, May 14 and 15, are expected to bring similar rains, which may slightly reduce comfort for residents, with temperatures rising to +17°C during the day and again maintaining 5–9°C at night. Winds from the southwest will strengthen to 7–12 m/s. In the high mountain region of the Carpathians, weather conditions remain unstable. Light rain is forecasted for the upcoming days, with on May 15 possible moderate cloudiness accompanied by wet snow—an important consideration for climbers, tourists, and residents of high-altitude areas. Temperatures during the day will range from 5 to 10 degrees Celsius, dropping close to zero at night. Thus, Ukrainians should consider the variety of climatic conditions in their plans—ranging from possible frosts and rains to warm days with moderate temperatures. The Hydrometeorological Center recommends paying attention to the variable nature of the weather, especially for those planning agricultural work, outdoor activities, or simply wishing to stay warm and comfortable.
