Last Sunday, May 11, Ukrainian defenders continued actively resisting Russian occupiers, demonstrating a high level of combat readiness and proficiency in neutralizing the enemy. According to official reports, during hostilities in this sector of the front, Ukrainian troops successfully stopped 38 enemy assault attempts, engaging in nine episodes of combat, which are still ongoing. This indicates a stable resistance by Ukrainian defenders and their ability to withstand the enemy's numerical superiority. The General Staff reports that in just one day in this area, 368 invaders were eliminated, of which over half—193 individuals—are considered irrecoverably lost. In addition to human losses, Ukrainian soldiers achieved significant technical victories, destroying five combat armored vehicles, which reflects a high level of tactical skill and precision in fire. Also destroyed was one artillery system; vehicle and motorcycle traffic was incapacitated, including one car and 15 motorcycle units. Multifunctional assets were also not spared—32 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were destroyed, along with the neutralization of a UAV control point. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces damaged another combat armored vehicle, a vehicle, four motorcycles, and four artillery systems, demonstrating a systematic approach to destroying key military targets of the enemy. Such a large-scale attack on enemy equipment and forces confirms the high level of organization and training of Ukrainian defenders, who stubbornly hold the defense under difficult conditions. According to representatives of the General Staff, preliminary data indicate that the previous day on the front was marked by 111 combat engagements, illustrating the high intensity and prolonged nature of the fighting across all sectors of the front. Overall, the situation remains under control by the Ukrainian army, which demonstrates courage and determination in the fight for the country’s independence and territorial integrity. Meanwhile, the enemy suffers significant losses and is losing positions, offering hope for further strengthening of Ukraine’s defensive potential and accelerating the end of this prolonged war.
