According to the military, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled over 40 enemy attacks on various sections of the front line during the past 24 hours, maintaining control and preventing Russian forces from advancing in several key areas. As of 16:00 on Sunday, Ukrainian troops recorded at least 46 enemy attacks. In total, 67 combat engagements took place, indicating high enemy activity in different directions. The most intense fighting remains on the Pokrovsk direction, where the occupation forces attempted 36 breakthroughs in the areas of more than ten settlements. Ukrainian soldiers have already repelled 27 attacks in this sector, while fighting continues there. This confirms the efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine not only to stop the enemy but also to hold control over strategically important positions. Regarding other key directions, the situation remains tense but under Ukrainian control. On the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled one attack near Vovchansk. On the Lyman front, the enemy carried out six attacks, four of which are still ongoing, demonstrating active combat for control over this region. On the Siversky direction, two breakthrough attempts have been thwarted, while another engagement is ongoing. In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy assaults, with another skirmish remaining tense. On the Toretsk direction, enemy activity manifested in five attacks, all of which were repelled, and fighting continues. Despite difficulties, on the Novopavlivka direction, two assaults were stopped, ending unsuccessfully for the enemy. On the Orehiv front, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled five attacks, with one more halted. The Kursk direction remains an active area for enemy actions—four battles have been recorded there, two of which are ongoing. Meanwhile, the Russians launched four guided aerial bomb strikes and conducted over 130 artillery shellings, adding additional pressure on Ukrainian defenders. The overall losses of the occupation forces on Saturday, May 10, also attest to the high cost the Russian troops are paying for their actions. According to the General Staff, over 1,300 occupiers have been destroyed, including 2 tanks and 33 artillery systems. This confirms the high price the enemy is willing to pay in its futile and unsuccessful offensive attempts. Ukrainian military personnel continue to act decisively and purposefully, preventing enemy advances and strengthening the defense on all sections of the front. In conditions of constant tension and active aggression, the Ukrainian people and their defenders demonstrate resilience and readiness to protect their land under the most difficult circumstances.
