According to their estimates, during this short period, the occupiers significantly intensified their combat activities, indicating a lack of real adherence to the ceasefire terms and deliberate aggression on the frontlines. According to publicly available data, in the first three days of the "ceasefire," the Russians carried out 193, 196, and 161 assault operations, respectively. This is significantly higher than the average daily number of attacks in April, which was about 155. Thus, the analysis suggests that the enemy's activity increased almost twofold during this period. The source notes that the situation at the front lines shows suspicious signs and indicates that the ceasefire regime was more declarative than real. The report emphasizes that in most areas along the front line, there was no stable visible ceasefire. According to experts, "almost all front-line sectors experienced only isolated cases of shooting and shelling, which cannot be classified as compliance with the truce." Such activity on the part of Russian forces raises serious questions regarding promises and international agreements on a ceasefire, given that the structure and actual intentions of the occupiers completely ignore the measures established by the agreement. This suggests that for the Russians, the "ceasefire" is more of a tactical tool rather than a genuine period of de-escalation and may serve as a pretext for regrouping and preparing for new attacks. The enemy's behavior raises increasing concerns not only among the Ukrainian side but also among international observers, who have already noted that the facts of intensified hostilities during the so-called "ceasefire" create additional tension and undermine all efforts to achieve true peace and stability in the region. Military experts emphasize that such behavior by Russia underscores its intention to maintain strategic activity and demonstrate rejection of any diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions. Ukrainian defenders are currently working to strengthen their positions and monitor the situation at the front, but the increased number of Russian attacks after the declaration of the "ceasefire" raises alarms and calls for more vigilant control and rapid response. The international community must show support and intensify diplomatic pressure on Moscow to ensure better adherence to international agreements and prevent further escalation of the conflict. As analysts from Deepstate note, this situation demonstrates the complete incapacity of the Russian armed forces to comply with even the simplest agreements. They are likely using the "quiet" period to prepare new strikes and consolidate their positions during temporary calm. This once again proves that well-coordinated diplomacy and increased international pressure are the most necessary tools to detain aggression and protect Ukrainian sovereignty.
