Once again, a tragic scene of destruction and human suffering has unfolded in Kharkiv region due to massive attacks by enemy aircraft and drones
On Sunday, when the peaceful life of local residents was disrupted by explosions and gunfire from Russian occupation forces, several serious incidents occurred across the area, costing lives and leaving people injured. According to official information obtained from the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, three civilians were affected by attacks involving enemy drones, including FPV-type drones. Specifically, around noon, an incident was recorded in the Zolochivska community of the Bohodukhiv district, where one of the drones struck. As a result, a 54-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized in moderate condition. Reports confirm that the strike hit the village of Ivashki, and local medics were already working to save the injured. Additionally, after noon, at approximately 4 p.m., Russian forces deployed another kamikaze drone, targeting a vehicle traveling in the village of Baranivka. The vehicle was severely damaged upon impact, and during the incident, a husband and wife—aged 53—were injured by shrapnel and the blast wave. Emergency services quickly transported both to medical facilities, where they are receiving necessary care. These tragic events coincided with another acute situation that occurred on Saturday: Russian troops dropped a guided bomb on the village of Sadovod in Kharkiv region. Preliminary reports indicate significant damage—two residential buildings were damaged, and two women were injured. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, but the destruction and injuries highlight the scale of devastation and the increasing fear gripping the region with each passing day. This series of attacks underscores the ongoing severity and tension of the military situation in Kharkiv region. People continue to selflessly heal their wounds and strive to maintain courage and calm despite daily dangers. However, these tragedies serve as a stark reminder of the human cost of this war. Official structures continue to document each case of damage and injury, devoting maximum effort to providing aid and fighting for the safety of residents in the region.
