As a result of night and morning attacks, two local residents sustained serious injuries, and their homes suffered significant damage. This event serves as yet another confirmation that the armed conflict in southern Ukraine continues, leaving a mark on people's lives and destroying their property. According to official information from Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the morning in the village of Pavlivka began with massive airstrikes carried out by Russian troops using three guided aerial bombs. These nocturnal attacks damaged several residential buildings, and two women aged 75 and 56 were injured of varying severity. The older resident, who received serious wounds, was urgently hospitalized and is receiving necessary medical assistance. Her younger neighbor, a 56-year-old woman, was concussed and also requires medical help. The main strike targeted specifically this village, which has already been attacked multiple times by Russian forces. In addition to damage to residential buildings, serious destruction was recorded in the village's household and infrastructure areas. Law enforcement and military reports indicate that this attack is part of a series of shellings ongoing in the region. Later that day, in the afternoon, the situation repeated — militants used a drone again, this time an FPV (First Person View) drone, to strike the village. According to eyewitnesses and medical services, another local resident was injured during this second attack. She is 56 years old, and her wounds again require urgent medical attention. The drone strike damaged a residential building, marking yet another act of destruction in the heart of peaceful communities. As AFP explains, in comments and official statements, the Russians attacked this settlement in Vasylivskyi district for the second time in a day, causing further destruction and human suffering. Since damage to residential structures and injuries to civilians have become a common reality in the region, local and military leaders emphasize the need for active resistance and strengthening defense measures. This is not the first such attack for the region. On the morning of May 11, missile and bomb strikes from Russian forces occurred in Kyiv Oblast, causing destruction in two districts near the capital. Additionally, on May 10, Ukrainian military and medical personnel recorded injuries to seven residents of Donetsk and Kharkiv regions who were caught in Russian shelling. Overall, the escalation of hostilities and the continued use of aviation, drones, and bombing equipment by Russia confirm that the situation at the front remains tense. Civilians, especially in front-line regions, face daily trials and risks to their lives. The international community calls for strengthening defense capabilities and finding ways to de-escalate the conflict in order to stop this wave of destruction and human tragedies.
