Geyeshtrab: On the front line – 111 battles from morning to evening, half of them in the Pokrovsk area
From morning until late evening this day, Ukrainian military forces recorded as many as 111 combat contacts with Russian invaders across the entire front line. The most active situation remains in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 47 times, using various tactics and weaponry. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff’s brief as of 22:00, the situation remains tense and is constantly changing. In general, Russian occupiers continue to employ a wide arsenal of destructive means. They conducted 39 air strikes, dropping 68 guided aerial bombs. This heavy load significantly complicates the defense. Additionally, the enemy actively uses unmanned aerial vehicles – during the day, 1,262 kamikaze drones were employed to destroy Ukrainian targets. As a result, 3,821 shelling incidents occurred against Ukrainian positions and populated areas targeted by the enemy. Especially intense fighting took place in the Kharkiv direction, where Russians attempted to launch offensive operations twice near Vovchansk. However, Ukrainian troops held their positions and thwarted these attempts to advance. The situation on the Kupiansk sector is even more tense: the invaders attacked Ukrainian defensive lines in the areas of Nova Kruhliakivka and Zahrizne, but defenders successfully repelled two attempts to break through. On the Lyman front, Russian forces carried out 20-minute attacks in the areas of Kopanky, Hreikovka, Nove, Ridkodub, Kolodzyi, and in the direction of Hryhoriivka. Combat operations there continue with mixed success: clashes occurred on both sides, and four of them have not yet concluded. On the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repel enemy attacks, particularly holding the defense around Bilohorivka for a long time. At least four attack attempts were made there, two of which remain active at the moment. In the Kramatorsk sector, the situation is no less tense. The Russians attempted several breakthroughs near Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, and Andriivka. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all these attacks, maintaining control of their positions. Meanwhile, the Toretskyi area once again became a battlefield of fierce fighting. Six times, Russian forces attacked areas of Ozaryanivka, Diliivka, and Toretsk – Ukrainian troops successfully defended their positions and thwarted the assaults. In the Pokrovsk direction, the situation is especially tense: since the morning, the enemy has launched attacks in the areas of several settlements, including Stara Mykolaivka, Vodiane Druhe, Nove Poltavka, Myrolubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyarivka, Troitske, Andriivka, and Bahatyr. Ukrainian military forces exert tremendous effort and have stopped 38 storming attempts. Nine more combat clashes are ongoing, indicating high tension on this front. According to preliminary estimates, on Sunday, over 368 invaders were destroyed in this sector, including 193 permanently. Regarding military equipment and destruction of enemy forces, Ukrainian defenders have destroyed five armored combat vehicles, one artillery system, one vehicle, 15 motorcycles, and 32 drones. Additionally, one armored combat vehicle, transport vehicles, four motorcycles, and four enemy artillery systems were damaged. Reports also indicate that Ukrainian forces damaged an unmanned aerial vehicle command post, communication means, and other enemy military equipment. In the Novopavlivka sector, the situation remains tense – the enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses seven times in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Novosilka, Vilne Polye, and Novopole. All these attacks were repelled, and active fighting continues, with three more clashes ongoing. The operational situation on the Orekhiv direction remains critical for the occupying forces. They launched eight attacks in the areas of Malaya Tokmachka, Stepove, and Maly Shcherbaky, but Ukrainian units successfully defended their positions and thwarted all assaults. Another important area is the Dnipro sector, where the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to break through Ukrainian positions. Ukrainian troops held their defense and responded with counterattacks. On the Kursk direction, the situation remains dangerous: since the start of the day, the enemy has launched eight attacks, one of which is ongoing, and conducted airstrikes – two of which were successful. Overall, the enemy carried out 134 artillery shellings, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems, again confirming the high intensity of fighting in this zone. Overall, the situation at the front remains very tense, but Ukrainian military forces demonstrate high resilience and skill in defending their land. They not only repulse enemy attacks but also systematically destroy enemy equipment, military hardware, and personnel. The operational situation leaves many questions open, but Ukrainian defenders continue fighting for every piece of Ukrainian land and for independence.
