Russian occupiers have once again resorted to ruthless and aggressive methods of terror against the peaceful population of Ukraine
This time, the victim of their treacherous attack was a resident of Kherson, who was deliberately targeted by Russian military forces with a drone. According to information provided by the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the incident occurred around 6 a.m.—just as civilians were starting to recover from overnight disturbances, but Russian drones were already demonstrating their relentless activity. According to official sources, during a missile or drone attack that caused significant destruction and instilled fear among civilians, a 60-year-old man was seriously injured. As a result of being hit by a combat projectile from a drone, he sustained explosive trauma as well as shrapnel wounds to his lower limbs. The victim was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital; however, his condition remains serious—medical professionals report that he requires urgent and comprehensive care. This incident once again underscores the cynicism and deliberate nature of Russian invaders' tactics of intimidating the civilian population. According to data released by the Kherson Regional Military Administration, drone attacks aimed at hitting peaceful residents are ongoing "massively," causing even more tension and anxiety among local residents. These attacks have long ceased to be isolated incidents—they are part of a systemic tactic of intimidation and terror, aimed not only at destroying infrastructure but also at psychological pressure and the destruction of a sense of security among the population. In face of these actions by Russian aggressors, Ukrainian defenders and local authorities are calling on the international community to increase pressure on Russia and put an end to these ruthless attacks targeting civilians. At the same time, active documentation of such attacks is continuing in Kherson and surrounding areas, to hold those responsible accountable as quickly as possible and ensure protection for every Ukrainian. Additionally, local authorities urge residents to exercise maximum caution, monitor official reports, and not ignore air alarm signals, as the relentless storm of war continues to spare no one. This once again confirms that Kherson and all of Ukraine are in deep need of international support in the fight for freedom and independence. Unfortunately, with each day, the volume of attacks increases, and every civilian has the right to expect protection and security in their country.
