According to official information from the head of the regional military administration, Serhii Lysak, the enemy attacks have left a tragic mark — one person was wounded, and a large fire broke out in a village, spreading to several infrastructure facilities. Reports indicate that the enemy shelling was carried out using drones and artillery systems that deliberately struck multiple settlements in the area. Specifically, attacks targeted the Pokrosk, Chervonogryhorivka, Myrivka, and Marganets communities. As a result, not only residential buildings were damaged in these towns and villages, but also agricultural structures and infrastructure were destroyed. “The shelling caused serious consequences,” Serhii Lysak said on his Telegram channel. “An 83-year-old man was injured; he is currently receiving outpatient treatment. Additionally, during the attack, a garage, an outbuilding, and a moped were burned. The shelling also damaged power lines, leading to power outages in several settlements.” Local rescuers responded quickly to the call, extinguishing the fire that engulfed the garage and outbuilding. However, besides the fire, other objects also sustained damage, including several private homes that were hit by debris and shockwaves. Residents of Nikopol again find themselves in the line of danger: they hurriedly evacuate from damaged buildings, seeking safe shelter. Local authorities urge citizens to follow safety rules and not to ignore alarm signals, as the enemy continues its attacks and intensifies the situation in southern Ukraine. The armed forces and sappers are working around the clock to detect and neutralize kamikaze drones and to mine the affected areas. Authorities call on residents to remain vigilant and to support each other during this difficult time. This is not the first attempt by Russian occupiers to increase pressure on the region through missile and artillery attacks and drones. Despite everything, Ukrainian defenders and local authorities continue to fight for safety and peace on their land, despite the constant barrage of enemy shelling.
