Specifically, the survey conducted by the Razumkov Center’s sociological service in conjunction with the Kyiv Security Forum from April 24 to May 4, 2025, shows that almost sixty percent of Ukrainians support the country's main leader – precisely 59.8%. This indicates a sustained level of trust that has persisted since the beginning of 2025 and confirms the continued popularity of the president among the population despite numerous internal and external challenges. According to the statistics, the largest proportion of Ukrainians express full trust – 17.1%. Meanwhile, 42.7% of respondents are more likely to trust Volodymyr Zelensky, which reflects significant support for his political course and confidence in his leadership actions. On the opposite end, 13.7% of people do not trust the head of state at all, and 19.4% are inclined to rather distrust him. These figures indicate a relatively high level of support but also the presence of a segment of the population that expresses critical attitudes towards current reforms and government decisions. Overall, the survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews in territories controlled by the government, where active hostilities are not taking place. A total of 2,021 adult citizens aged 18 and older were surveyed. The methodological sampling error does not exceed 2.3%, but it is essential to consider additional systematic deviations that may be caused by the situation's specifics, such as forced evacuation of populations and significant migration of citizens from conflict zones due to Russian aggression. It is worth recalling that earlier, according to a survey by the Razumkov Center conducted from February 28 to March 6, 2025, the level of trust in Zelensky was 57.5%. Even more significant are the results from research by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), which took place from February 4 to March 4 of the same year. According to this data, Ukrainians' trust in the president increased from 57% to 68% during that period, which was associated with the tense political situation in the country, sharp disagreements with the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, and conflicts within the White House’s Oval Office. This demonstrates that Ukrainian society actively responds to foreign policy challenges and internal political events, supporting the country’s leader even in difficult times.
