According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, specialists are currently working at the scene and responded quickly to the situation. An official from the KMA reported: “In the Sviatoshynskyi district, debris from unmanned aerial vehicles fell onto the territory of one of the schools — Secondary School No. 200 named after Vasyl Stus — as well as onto open areas of another location.” Preliminary information indicates that the incident did not cause serious consequences: there were no injuries or damages. At the same time, experts note that work at the site is ongoing, with the primary goal of quickly and effectively eliminating the fallout from the debris and ensuring the safety of local residents. Overall, as of 3:30 p.m. on May 7, the situation regarding the consequences of Russian air attacks in Kyiv is fully under control. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the number of casualties from recent missile and drone strikes is eight people. Among them are four minors who sustained various injuries and require medical assistance. Four of the injured have been hospitalized in city medical facilities, including three children. Unfortunately, there was also a tragedy. Two people were killed in the attacks — a woman born in 1960 and her son, born in 1997. Preliminary reports suggest that the tragedy occurred as a result of a missile strike. Currently, the city authorities and relevant services have organized round-the-clock patrols and deployed operational headquarters across the capital. Their goal is to respond swiftly and efficiently to any emergencies, ensure safety, and provide necessary assistance to all those affected. Mobile teams and rescue services are working at the affected sites, involved in debris removal and evacuating victims. In addition, social services are providing psychological support to citizens who have been injured or traumatized by the recent shelling. The city authorities assure that work on clearing the aftermath of the attack and restoring infrastructure will be carried out as quickly as possible so that Kyiv residents feel safe and can return to their normal routines. This recent incident underscores once again the high level of tension in the Ukrainian capital and confirms the need to strengthen the city’s defenses and improve safety for its residents.
