On Sunday, explosions and sounds of destruction were again heard in Dnipropetrovsk region. Russian military forces once again caused a tragedy, the effects of which were felt by ordinary civilians. According to preliminary data, a 54-year-old man was killed during the shelling, and three others received various degrees of injuries. This was reported by Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, who provided detailed information about the incident on his Telegram channel. The official stated that at the end of the working day, around midday, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the Novopavlivka community, which is part of Synelnykove district. As a result, a 54-year-old man tragically lost his life. Large fires broke out at the site of the impact — a private house and a nearby outbuilding caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the flames; however, civilian casualties had already been inflicted. Serhii Lysak also noted that additional reports of shelling came in during the morning. According to him, in Marhanets, which belongs to Nikopol district, Russian drones suddenly appeared in the sky, activating air defense measures. The enemy UAV was detected and attacked by defense forces, but its launch triggered a new humanitarian crisis — during the attack, three residents of the city were injured. They are men aged 39 and 68, and a 75-year-old woman. All were immediately hospitalized with moderate injuries. Their condition is currently assessed as stable, but the psychological and physical effects of the attacks have noticeably impacted the people. Medical teams and rescuers are already working at the sites of these tragedies, and regional leaders are urging residents to remain extremely cautious and prepared for possible new enemy shellings. Communities in Dnipropetrovsk region continue to operate in a state of heightened alert, as these attacks demonstrate that the aggressor has no intention of easing his war against Ukrainian civilians. These terrible events serve as a grim reminder of the humanitarian crisis in the region, the courage and resilience of the people fighting daily for their lives and freedom. Responsible authorities are calling on everyone to stay vigilant and follow safety guidelines, as the enemy does not cease to carry out targeted attacks, destroying not only infrastructure but also human lives.
