According to official sources, as of 16:00, the number of breakthrough attempts has already reached 50. Of these, 28 battlefield engagements are ongoing, despite the Russians' lack of significant success in this direction. This indicates high tension and the enemy's focused efforts to breach the Ukrainian line of defense and seize strategically important territories. Overall, since the start of the current day, more than 120 combat clashes have taken place at the front, demonstrating that the situation remains tense and challenging for both sides. The Russian troops were most active in several key directions. In particular, on the Kharkiv front, two attacks near Vovchansk were recorded during the day — territories crucial for control over the northern part of the region. Near Kupiansk, offensive operations continue in the Zahrizove area, where Ukrainian defenders are fighting to hold their positions. On the Lyman front, the Russians launched nine attacks near the settlements of Rydkodub, Yampolivka, Kolodyazi, Torske, and toward Hryhoriivka. These hostilities are characterized by active offensive attempts by the occupiers, but Ukrainian units are successfully countering the enemy. In the Kramatorsk area, the enemy carried out three attacks in the directions of Chasyv Yaru, Mayske, and Bilo Hory, with one of these battles still ongoing. In the Toretske district, the Russians focused their efforts in one direction — toward Krymske, but Ukrainian defenders are establishing counter-resistance lines. Another significant confrontation is in the Pokhradsk direction, where the enemy launched 46 attacks of varying intensity. Some have already been repelled, while 10 battles are still ongoing. This reflects high activity from the Russians and their deliberate tactics to break through Ukrainian defenses in this zone. On the Kursk front, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled five attacks by pro-Russian forces. Four other clashes are ongoing, although Ukrainians are demonstrating resolve and the ability to restrain the enemy. Regarding the situation in other sectors, the Russians used uncontrolled aerial missiles against the settlements of Malynivka and Huliaipole, indicating the use of heavy air equipment to destroy infrastructure and exert psychological pressure on the local population. At the same time, on the Siversky, Huliaipole, and Prydniprovske fronts, Ukrainian forces have not recorded active offensive actions by the occupiers — the entire period has been characterized by defense and holding existing positions. Recall that on May 2, over 139 combat clashes occurred at the front, with 53 of them in the Pokrovsk direction. This once again confirms the high tension along the line of contact and the concentrated efforts of Ukrainian defenders in resisting Russian aggression. This dynamic indicates a systematic pattern of hostilities, high mobilization of forces and resources by both sides. Ukrainian troops continue to hold their positions and counter the enemy, despite their numerical superiority and aggressive attempts to break through defenses. The peak moments of ongoing tension require even greater concentration and courage from Ukrainian defenders to protect the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
