In the past 24 hours, the situation in Zaporizhzhia region remained tense and extremely difficult. According to official data, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out over 400 attacks on residential and infrastructural objects in the region, confirming the escalation of enemy assaults amid the ongoing conflict. This information was announced by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, emphasizing the scale and systematic nature of the Russian occupiers’ aggression. Overall, in one day, the Russians conducted 11 separate strikes on populated areas within the region, attacking both military targets and civilian homes of peaceful residents. Specifically, there were 20 airstrikes carried out on the villages of Malyh Shcherbakakh, Luk’yianivskyi, Novoandriivka, and Malynivka. These targets were hit from the air, causing destruction and placing additional pressure on local infrastructure while causing panic among the population. In addition to air raids, Russian military units employed UAVs of various modifications— a total of 228 drones— targeting settlements such as Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodaryivka. These actions resulted in further destruction and increased fear and anxiety among residents. Furthermore, the invaders used rocket artillery systems (MLRS), hitting Kamianske and Huliaipole entirely. An additional two missile strikes from MLRS added to the tension and destruction in the region, creating further difficulties for local services and residents. Artillery attacks were also extensive: over the course of the day, Russian forces launched approximately 150 artillery strikes on the territories of Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodaryivka. These strikes caused significant damage to residential buildings, private homes, and infrastructural objects. According to Ivan Fedorov, these attacks resulted not only in damage to buildings but also inflicted harm on specific residents, damaging apartments, private houses, and vehicles. In total, 171 reports of damage to civilian infrastructure and property have been received, illustrating the scale of destruction and chaos caused by Russian aggressors. It is evident that the situation in Zaporizhzhia region remains complex and unstable. Local services continue operating in a heightened mode, but their capacities are limited, and the population is in a state of anxiety. This underscores the urgent need to strengthen defense measures, swiftly restore damaged infrastructure, and safeguard the lives and property of civilians in the region, which has become one of the hottest front lines in this war.
