A large-scale fire has engulfed the village of Velykyi Burluk in Kharkiv region as a result of a massive Russian attack, which caused a devastating blaze in the settlement

Preliminary information indicates that two women, aged 86 and 72, were injured in this incident. A powerful explosive blast resulted in the complete destruction of a two-story commercial building that was one of the central structures in the village, as well as causing significant damage to residential and administrative buildings. Two residential houses on the second floor, as well as administrative offices, shops, and pavilions located close to the epicenter of the attack, were partially destroyed and damaged. Local authorities and rescue teams are already working to eliminate the consequences of this emergency. The fire has been localized only partially, as the flames spread quickly through combustible materials accumulated in the damaged buildings. Emergency services, military personnel, and medical teams promptly arrived at the scene, jointly working to stabilize the situation and provide assistance to those affected. This is the third large-scale shelling of Velykyi Burluk over the past week, and it once again underscores the severity and destructive impact of Russia’s aggression on the civilian population of Kharkiv region. Residents are frightened and have lost their sense of security, as strikes are becoming more frequent and intense. Authorities urge residents to remain calm, strictly follow safety rules, and help each other during this difficult time. Eyewitnesses report that at the moment of the shelling, it was quiet in the village center. Suddenly, explosions erupted, and within just a few minutes, flames spread around, engulfing several objects simultaneously. Many buildings suffered infrastructure damage, including electrical networks and communication systems, complicating further recovery efforts.
