Military personnel, specifically representatives of the 8th Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Special Operations Forces, have unveiled rare footage from the body cameras of their operators who were on the front lines during the most intense fighting. According to the press service of the Special Operations Forces, these heroic special forces soldiers protected a strategically important position from behind and managed to repel enemy attacks that reached the most fierce assault levels. During one such episode, it is known that the combat group of the 8th Regiment halted the advancing of the occupiers, forcing the enemy to retreat. Some of them later fell into a trap: after a firefight and the use of high-tech destruction tools, Ukrainian special forces eliminated three enemy fighters who tried to settle in the basement of a residential building. “The basement became a trap for the enemies,” reports the press service. “The enemy was completely destroyed. Our soldiers approached closely and threw thermobaric grenades. In the same direction, the operators engaged in gunfire with another group of occupiers. As a result of a successful fight, several enemies were eliminated, and a radio station and enemy weapons were seized.” This is yet another proof of the high professionalism of Ukrainian special forces and their indomitable spirit. While hostilities continue on the front lines, the 8th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces is actively seeking additional resources to equip its units. In particular, funds are being raised to purchase the ground robotic complex “Termit.” Currently, more than half of the required 850,000 hryvnias has been collected.
