According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, during the shelling, one person was killed and another was wounded. Details of prosecutor investigative actions and official confirmation of this information appeared through Telegram channels of regional leaders, including Oleg Sinegubov, who provided a brief and restrained comment regarding the situation in his post. According to the investigation, during the nighttime shelling on May 2 at around 2:20 am, a Russian "Geran-2" drone struck the village of Mykolaivka Persha in Lozivskyi district. As a result of the missile attack, private residential houses were damaged, and a farm building was destroyed, creating an additional threat to the lives and health of local residents. One woman, a 61-year-old resident of the village, experienced an acute stress reaction, highlighting the psychological toll borne by civilians during prolonged shelling. Earlier, on May 1 at approximately 18:20, Russian forces carried out an air strike on the village of Vylkhuvatka in Kupiansk district. A 53-year-old local resident was killed as a result. It has been officially confirmed that the occupiers used a FÆB-250 explosive device, which is evidence of targeted destruction of civilian infrastructure and residential areas. These events once again underscore the difficult situation faced by the inhabitants of Kharkiv region, who are enduring constant shelling by Russian military forces. The consequences of these attacks are felt not only through destruction and human casualties but also in the psychological state of the population, who are forced to live in constant fear awaiting new strikes. In recent months, there has been an increase in cases of housing and infrastructure destruction in the region, causing significant damage to the local economy and social sector.
