An enemy strike was inflicted on one of the industrial facilities within the territory of the starostinsk district, part of the Sumy urban community. As a result of this incident, a large-scale fire broke out in the region, quickly spiraling out of control, causing significant material damage and panic among the local inhabitants. According to information provided by Artem Kobzar, acting mayor of Sumy, via his official Facebook page, the situation was extremely dire. He released a video showing the aftermath of the missile strike: flames engulfed the production area, and the fire continued to rage. Kobzar stated that the enemy employed Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles, which have become a primary tool of Russian terrorist attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. This confirms once again the pattern of targeted shelling of industrial and logistical sites in the region, which destroys the economy and complicates life for local residents.
