The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, warns on his official Facebook channel that the enemy has significantly intensified hostilities, concentrating their main efforts on the so-called Pokrovsk direction, which remains one of the hottest sectors in the current front-line situation. According to Syrskyi, regardless of public declarations about readiness for a truce, Russian troops have increased the intensity of shelling and offensive operations. They are deliberately trying to break through the Ukrainian defenses, aiming to swiftly reach the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk region, which is a strategic element in protecting the region from further advances by the occupiers. The Commander-in-Chief emphasizes that the enemy is massing human resources by deploying numerous additional units to this front. Russian commanders, despite heavy losses, are throwing new battalions into the fight every day, sacrificing the lives of their soldiers. At the same time, they report fantastic successes and progress, which are more propaganda clichés than real achievements. Ukrainian defenders are honorably holding the line, giving a strong counterattack and destroying enemy facilities on their way to achieving their goals. Syrskyi also reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces command continuously analyzes the situation on the front and makes appropriate decisions regarding the additional provision of ammunition, modern drones, electronic warfare (EW) equipment, and reserves to strengthen defensive positions. Particular emphasis is placed on the use of unmanned strike systems, which allow neutralizing the enemy at early stages of an attack and minimizing losses among troops. The head of Ukrainian command is convinced that, despite ongoing pressure and constant attempts to break through, the enemy is suffering serious losses and gradually retreating. They feel strong resistance, which manifests not only in disrupting their plans but also in Ukrainian forces striking blows across the full depth of their combat formations. This gives grounds to say that Ukrainian defenders are keeping the situation under control and inflicting significant damage on the enemy, reducing their ability to advance further and break through. In conclusion, Syrskyi emphasizes that the situation on the front remains tense, and the aggressors’ breakthroughs are part of their strategic plans, which the Ukrainian military actively counter with strength and tactical skill. They continue fighting for every square kilometer and do not allow the enemy to achieve their intended goals, defending the security of Dnipropetrovsk region and all of Ukraine as a whole.
