In the dangerous atmosphere of tension between India and Pakistan, alarming signals are reappearing, indicating the possible onset of large-scale military actions in the region
Attaullah Tarar, the Pakistani Minister of Information, officially announced that the country’s diversion and intelligence agencies have received credible data suggesting that India is planning to carry out a large-scale military strike on Pakistani territory within the next 24-36 hours. According to him, the sources of this information have appeared on X (formerly Twitter), confirming that India is preparing for active military operations. Tarar emphasized that intelligence has "credible confirmation." An official spokesperson strongly stressed: "We possess tangible and verified data indicating that Indian military forces are conducting massive movements and preparing for an offensive." This warning comes amid escalating tensions that began even earlier, following a recent attack on tourists in the disputed Kashmir region, particularly in the town of Pahalgam. Pakistan’s Minister of Defense, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, explicitly stated that India’s military invasion into the region after this attack is "almost inevitable." He noted that this event has significantly worsened the situation and increased the likelihood of a full-scale war between the two nuclear-armed countries. We remind you that this conflict is not new and has a long history of tension. Recently, relations in the region have further deteriorated after a tragic attack on tourists in Pahalgam on April 23, when militants carried out an assault in the Indian sector of Kashmir, resulting in at least 26 civilians killed. This was one of the most extensive and bloodiest incidents in recent years, which caused a serious escalation of the situation and heightened sympathies and suspicions in both countries, which have an extremely tense relationship, marked by hundreds of wars and conflicts, particularly over disputed territories. Geopolitical tension has reached a critical point, and all eyes are on whether diplomatic channels can prevent a large-scale military confrontation. However, official statements and likely frontline actions indicate that the situation is very delicate and could turn into a military phase at any moment, with serious consequences not only for the region but also for the entire world.
