During the past 24 hours, a record number of combat engagements has been registered on the Ukrainian front, reaching 177 and taking place across various sectors, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff

This indicates increasing enemy activity, as they attempt to intensify pressure on Ukrainian positions and territories that remain on the brink of control. Official data shows that the Russian army continues relentless attacks and offensive operations in several key directions. The most frequent assaults occurred in the Pоквовське, Lyman, and Kursk zones of combat. According to sources from the General Staff, in the past day, the enemy launched a total of 91 airstrikes against Ukrainian military positions and civilian objects, dropping over 179 drones categorized as kamikaze drones. This includes nearly 5,900 shellings using various systems, with 95 carried out by rocket artillery systems, and over 3,000 drones used during strikes. Such tactics demonstrate the enemy’s growing aggression and the diversity of military tools they are utilizing to escalate their attacks. On the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully halted two enemy attempt offensives near Vovchansk and around Kam’yanka, effectively repelling the attacks. In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy conducted nine attacks near settlements such as Zaharivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Petrivka, and Novaya Kriuliivka. The most intense fighting was on the Lyman front, where Russian troops launched 21 attacks yesterday in the areas of Lypove, Novohaiivka, Novomykhailivka, Miarne, Zelenodolsk, and Yampolivka. All these events attest to the persistence of Russian forces in attempting to seize control over strategically important territories and maintain their positions. Yaroslav Stelmakh from the Ukrainian military command reports that the situation on the Siversk direction remains under control — only four attacks have been detected near Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske. In Donetsk, specifically in the Kramatorsk and Toretsk sectors, at least 19 combat engagements occurred in the areas of Maye, Predtechyne, Bile Hory, Kurdiumivka, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Dachne, Krymske, and near Dilyivka. These events indicate an escalation of hostilities in regions where Ukrainian forces are desperately holding their positions. Regarding defenses on the southern and eastern fronts, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled 75 enemy attempts to advance near the settlements of Stara Mykolaivka, Tarasivka, Shevchenko, Yelyzavetivka, Novotorseke, Lysivka, Uspenivka, Kotlyarivka, Troitske, Nadiivka, and Andriivka. On the Novopavlivka sector, 13 attacks were repelled near Kostiantynopil, Bural’tske, Pryvilne, Rivnopil, and Odhraadne. In other sectors, notably in the Dnipro region and Kursk, the situation remains more stable. Only sporadic fighting and airstrikes have been recorded here, mostly without significant breakthroughs or successes by the enemy. This ongoing activity indicates that Ukrainian positions are holding, and the focus remains on defensive operations. Meanwhile, no combat activity has been recorded on the Hulyaipole and Orikhiv sectors. Additionally, in the Volyn and Polissia regions, no signs of preparations for large-scale offensive operations by the Russians have been observed. This could suggest that the enemy is concentrating their resources and efforts in certain sectors where they are attempting to make a breakthrough, but so far without significant success. Overall, the situation at the front remains tense and dynamic. Ukrainian forces are stabilizing the situation in key sectors, repelling enemy attacks, while Russia is intensifying tactical pressure through aviation, drones, and powerful artillery strikes. Military experts and analysts emphasize that this situation should be viewed within the context of a complex multi-variant war, where each day brings new challenges and decisions for Ukrainian command and defenders.
