The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on its official Facebook page, reported on the profound and alarming scale of Russian military losses, which since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine have exceeded 950,000 killed occupiers
According to Ukrainian military sources, just in the past day, Russian terrorists suffered losses of over a thousand soldiers — notably, 1,060 Ukrainian defenders added to their tally of eliminated enemy personnel. The statistics of combat losses for this period are staggering and demonstrate the scale of the casualties experienced by the Russian army. From February 24, 2022, to April 29, 2025, considering the ongoing analysis, Ukrainian defenders have updated the data on Russian casualties. According to these figures, the approximate number of destroyed enemy personnel exceeds 950,000 soldiers — and this number continues to grow daily. Additionally, specific losses in equipment and weaponry are indicated: approximately 10,728 Russian tanks, with another 5 destroyed in the last day; 22,352 artillery pieces and 14 armored combat vehicles; over 27,500 artillery systems (including 42 in the past day); 1,146 air defense systems over the years; and more than 34,000 operational-tactical level drones (94 in the last day). Moreover, Russian forces have lost thousands of units of automotive equipment and tankers — totaling over 46,000, with an increase of 140 in the past day. The General Staff notes that these data are subject to clarification, as active collection and analysis of information from the frontline is ongoing. The enemy's losses and their scale attest to the resilience of Ukrainian defense and the high level of losses suffered by Russian invaders in a war that has lasted over two years. They also confirm the unwavering commitment of Ukraine in its fight for freedom and independence.
