This once again confirms the high level of training and the ability of Ukrainian military forces to effectively oppose the enemy even under the most difficult conditions. According to official sources of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, in particular the OSUV "Khortytsia" Telegram channel, the combat activities on April 26 focused around the settlement of Bahatyr in Donetsk Region. This small village has remained under Ukrainian control for a long time, but due to its strategic importance, the enemy attempted to break through our defensive lines. The Russian command, aiming for a breakthrough, formed a powerful assault column consisting of 18 motorcycles and 10 passenger cars. However, Ukrainian units detected this column in a timely manner thanks to effective reconnaissance work. Coordinated interaction between brigades and proper organization of military actions allowed us to deliver a powerful fire strike against the enemy. According to representatives of the "Vuhledar" tactical group, thanks to the high mobility and precision of the Ukrainian troops' actions, the enemy column failed to achieve its objectives. Fifteen of the 18 motorcycles and nine of the 10 automobiles were destroyed, demonstrating a high level of enemy equipment damage. Additionally, sources report that the losses among the occupation forces in personnel amounted to around 40 soldiers, which is a significant indicator for such an operation. Many of the aggressor's soldiers were neutralized on the battlefield, while others were injured or forced to temporarily withdraw. This victory once again demonstrates the ability of Ukrainian forces to quickly and accurately respond to enemy breakthroughs, destroying equipment and destroying the enemy's morale. They have once again proven that even in difficult conditions, when the opponent employs massive assaults, Ukrainian defenders can effectively resist, ensuring the security of their positions and maintaining control over strategically important areas. This further underscores the importance of high-tech reconnaissance, rapid mobilization, and the professionalism of Ukrainian soldiers, as well as their steadfast dedication to the defense of Ukraine. Overall, these events serve as a testament to the fact that Ukrainian defense forces not only hold their positions but also actively conduct counterattacks, destroying the enemy and clearing Ukrainian land of the aggressor. The military operation near Bahatyr once again confirms: despite all challenges, Ukrainian defenders remain steadfast and capable of defending the country even in the most difficult situations.
