S. President Donald Trump has sharply declined over the past nearly three months, breaking a 70-year record in public trust levels. An analysis conducted by SSRS commissioned by CNN shows that during this period, approval of Trump's policies has fallen to historically low levels, placing him among the worst performers among newly elected U.S. presidents over the past seventy years. According to the latest survey data, only 41% of Americans expressed support for Donald Trump's political course. This is the lowest figure for any new president at such an early stage of their term since at least the era of Dwight Eisenhower, indicating a significant crisis of trust in his leadership within the first hundred days. Moreover, this figure is worse than the results observed during the same period after the inaugurations of previous White House leaders. What is especially troubling is that support for the figure has decreased by a further 4% since March, and by 7% since February. Only 22% of respondents firmly approve of his performance as president, while over 45% outright disapprove. When broken down by political affiliation, a stark polarization is evident: support among active Republican supporters remains high—86%, whereas the majority of Democrats (likely over 93%) oppose his policies. As for independents, their support has decreased to 31%. The study data demonstrate that Trump’s popularity decline is occurring across all areas of government policy. For instance, support for his measures to combat inflation has fallen by 9 points since March and now stands at 35%. Similarly, public trust in his tariff policies has decreased by 4 points to the same 35%. Only 39% of respondents currently have a positive attitude toward his economic initiatives, a 5-point drop since March. Likewise, support for federal government management measures has fallen to 42%, down by 6 points. At the same time, fewer than half of Americans (46%) believe that Trump will be able to ensure a high level of qualified personnel in government positions, the lowest in recent times, indicating waning confidence in his кадровая политика. Support for reforms in government agencies continues to decline—less than 43% consider such changes necessary, while 57% see them as introducing unnecessary risks to the country's security and stability. Regarding foreign policy issues, support for his actions has decreased to 39%, and the percentage of respondents confident in Trump's ability to handle international challenges has dropped from 55% at the start of his second term to the current 50%. This suggests growing doubts about the effectiveness of his foreign policy strategies. Support for his immigration policies has decreased by seven points and currently stands at only 45%. Meanwhile, there has been a slight increase in support for Vice President Joe Biden—41%, with 58% opposing his work. Sources familiar with the situation report that Trump's team is already preparing an action plan for the next 100 days in the White House, while military circles are becoming concerned due to a series of scandals negatively affecting confidence in the leadership of the Department of Defense. Against the backdrop of ongoing domestic and international crises, doubts are growing within the president's team regarding the stability and effectiveness of his administrative decisions. Overall, the public's confidence in Trump's abilities remains fragile and tense. The decline in support levels, which has already broken historical records, poses additional challenges for his political career and influences his team's efforts to formulate an action program in the coming months.
