Russian invaders inflicted yet another painful loss on the civilian population in eastern Ukraine

According to official information released by the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson military administrations, on April 25, Russian occupiers opened fire in the settlement of Yarova in Donetsk region, resulting in tragic consequences. As a result of the attack, two civilians were killed, and five others were injured. According to regional authorities, among the dead are residents of Yarova, with the exact number unfortunately confirmed. Additionally, people in neighboring settlements were also affected by the shelling: two wounded in Oleksievo-Druzhkivka, and one in Yarova, Zakitne, and Myrnohrad. In total, five more civilians in Kherson region sustained injuries. The most alarming fact is that the shelling is not limited only to Donetsk region. Hostilities continue in southern Ukraine, in Kherson region, where a 67-year-old man was wounded during a drone attack in the city of Orikhiv. The casualties among civilians are becoming increasingly mass, indicating a systematic pattern of violence used by Russian troops against Ukrainian civilians. This is yet another example of how ruthless and desperate the war scenario is for ordinary citizens, who still have to live in a state of constant danger. Victims, their families, and society as a whole are calling on the international community to intensify pressure on Russia, demanding an end to the aggression and the protection of civilians. Simultaneously, Ukrainian volunteers and military personnel continue working tirelessly to provide assistance to the affected as quickly as possible and to fight for the safety of every Ukrainian remaining in temporarily occupied and dangerous territories.
