Over the past day, the situation remained tense, according to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, which confirmed reports of fatalities and injuries resulting from artillery and airstrikes. On Saturday morning, around 11:35 a.m., the occupiers carried out another attack on the city of Kostiantynivka, dropping three aerial bombs from military aircraft. Preliminary information indicates that the munitions were precisely aimed at the private sector of residential areas, leading to significant destruction and human casualties. Officially, a 41-year-old local resident was fatally wounded, with injuries incompatible with survival. A woman aged 60 and a man aged 50 also came under fire; they suffered mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds, broken ribs, and lacerations. Less than an hour later, at 12:18 p.m., the situation repeated itself – the city was again shelled. This time, a 45-year-old man was killed. A married couple aged 52 and 56, as well as another man aged 56, were also injured. All the injured were diagnosed with mine-explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds and received necessary medical assistance. The Donetsk Prosecutor’s Office reports that the Russian occupiers used munitions of the "FAB-250" type in the attack on Kostiantynivka, which were dropped from military aircraft equipped with UMPC (psychological and moral support systems). This evidence underscores the scale and audacity of the fascist attacks on peaceful civilians that have been ongoing for many years. Additionally, on Saturday afternoon, the occupiers crossed the contact line near Pokrovsk district, shelling its outskirts, including near the village of Novoeconomichne. As a result, a tragic incident was recorded: a 55-year-old man was killed by a direct hit from a shell. Several civilians were also injured – a car driver and two passengers aged 40 to 64. They sustained wounds, concussions, and shrapnel injuries and received medical aid. The exact type of weapon used in this shelling is still being determined, but it is already clear that high-tech weaponry and a barrage of shells once again threaten the peaceful lives of the region’s residents. The invaders continue to deliberately destroy infrastructure and deprive people of peace and security, and each new day brings additional losses for the Ukrainian civilian population. The media cover this tragic reality with deep concern and call on the international community to intensify efforts to end the aggression and ensure the safety of the civilians in Donetsk.
