According to official information from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, during this short period, the Russian command suffered losses of over 1,110 personnel and more than 200 military vehicles, including weapons of various types and modifications. These figures for the latest combat day, in the context of the overall Russian military losses, demonstrate the ongoing intense battles and the persistent efforts of Ukrainian defenders in the east, south, and other frontline regions. At the same time, this information highlights Ukraine’s efforts to repel enemy attacks and slow their advance. As of April 26, 2025, the total combat casualties of the Russian army since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, approach approximately 948,611 personnel. This includes all confirmed deceased and wounded soldiers, based on summarized reports, though it potentially does not account for some incomplete or classified data. Regarding equipment, during this period, occupying forces lost over 10,700 tanks, including eight newly lost tanks just in the last day. Additionally, more than 22,000 armored combat vehicles have been destroyed, with five new equipment losses reported in July alone. These figures point to intense fighting and a high level of destruction within the enemy’s technical park. Another notable trend is the systematic loss of artillery systems. Over the course of the conflict, more than 27,000 artillery pieces have been destroyed or damaged, with an additional seventy losses in the past day. This confirms that Ukrainian forces are successfully eliminating key components of Russian artillery units, which is a decisive factor in offensive operations. There are also losses among air defense assets—over 1,145 units since the beginning of the war, with one more system detected and destroyed in the last 24 hours. The operational-tactical drones of the enemy amount to nearly 34,000, with 118 drones added in the past day, highlighting Russian activity in the airspace and their efforts in reconnaissance. Another aspect is automotive equipment and fuel tankers: throughout the war, over 46,000 vehicles have been destroyed, including 145 in the last day. This indicates the depletion of logistical capabilities among occupying forces and complicates their mobility. Currently, considering ongoing updates and new data inclusion, these figures reflect the duration and scale of the conflict, as well as Ukraine’s persistent fight for freedom and independence. Enemy losses are the residual result of intense battles but also reveal new facets of the threat, which are actively diminishing in zones of active hostilities.
