In recent hours, the situation in eastern Ukraine has remained extremely tense. According to the Strategic Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Headquarters, from morning until the end of the day, more than 160 active combat engagements took place along the front line, indicating an increase in fighting intensity. The most intense situation remains in the Pokrovsk direction, where almost 60 separate clashes have been recorded, as well as in Toretske and Kurakhove, where the situation remains quite complex and unstable. According to the Ukrainian General Staff's report as of 10 p.m. on the 21st day, the enemy has intensified its attacks, employing a wide range of weapons and means of destruction. The opponent launched one missile and conducted 82 air strikes, using a total of 141 guided bombs and one missile. Additionally, Russian forces carried out nearly 5,000 drone strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements. This represents a powerful blow, causing significant destruction and human casualties. At the same time, the enemy actively used artillery — over 5,000 shellings occurred in one day, demonstrating high tactical activity and persistent attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses. On the Kupiansk direction, four attempts have been recorded to push Ukrainian units out of positions near Novoa Kriukliivka and Zakhryzivka. Currently, one battle is ongoing between the sides. Meanwhile, on the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 22 times, trying to advance in areas such as Nadiya, Hrechenkivka, Nove, Novomykhailivka, and towards Serebrianka. On the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched 27 attacks in a day, trying to establish control in Doryzhba, Leoniivka, Kremne, and Toretsk, but these efforts were also repelled. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy organized 59 assault and offensive operations throughout the day. Russian occupiers are showing particular tenacity near Suka Balka, Yelyzavetivka, Novotoritske, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Udačne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Kotliarivka, and Andriivka. Over the course of this day, Ukrainian defenders managed to neutralize about 330 occupiers, 185 of whom are confirmed dead. They also destroyed seven vehicles, 34 motorcycles, an self-propelled artillery unit, 14 kamikaze drones and their control antennas; additionally, they damaged another ten vehicles and enemy artillery systems. On the Novopavlivsk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 13 enemy attacks near Privilne, Dniproenergiya, and Rozlyv. Fighting also continues on the Orikhiv sector: in the areas of Maly Shcherbakiv and Stepove, the enemy made four joint attempts to advance, but Ukrainian forces hold their defenses, and another engagement is ongoing. On the Dnipro sector, Ukrainian forces effectively stopped one enemy attack, demonstrating a high level of control over the situation. Regarding the Kursk front, there were 16 combat engagements on Saturday, two of which are still ongoing. Overall, Russian forces carried out 264 artillery shellings in a day, including 14 from multiple launch rocket systems and 14 air strikes with 24 guided bombs, further highlighting the high threat level and tense situation in this part of the front. Analysts and military experts note that the Ukrainian army is exerting maximum effort to hold the front, delivering devastating strikes against the enemy and preventing Russian troop advances in various sectors. Depending on the direction, Ukrainian forces are actively destroying not only enemy personnel but also equipment, significantly complicating Russian offensive plans. Official reports confirm the elimination of over 300 enemy soldiers in one day, along with extensive damage to military hardware and systems — evidence of the high effectiveness of Ukrainian defenses. Overall, the situation at the front remains challenging and dynamic. Russian casualties and destroyed equipment demonstrate the high resistance of Ukrainian defenders, their ability to hold the line, and to strike back at the enemy. Military leadership calls for continued caution and vigilance until the situation stabilizes. However, the Ukrainians are demonstrating dedication and indomitable spirit, giving hope for further victory and protecting the country's independence.
