Among them are: - 46th Separate Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces; - 71st Separate Ranger Brigade; - 80th Separate Galician Air Assault Brigade; - 82nd Separate Bukovinian Air Assault Brigade; - 95th Separate Polissian Air Assault Brigade; - 148th Separate Artillery Brigade from Zhytomyr. In addition, the corps includes units responsible for combat and logistical support, playing a key role in maintaining front-line operations and ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of military units. This reflects a cohesive system where each link performs its critical function. The corps commander, Colonel Dmytro Voloshyn, emphasized in his speech that the new unit will operate according to clear plans and coordinated actions: "Clear planning and coordination, a strong fist, and focus on the direction—that's the principle under which the 8th Air Assault Corps will fight!" His words reflect a new course aimed at increasing operational efficiency and the capacity to respond rapidly in any situation.
