This is an important step toward developing specialized education for Ukraine’s defenders, enabling them not only to fulfill their duties on the front lines but also to manage their personal finances more wisely in peacetime. According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, this innovative course was developed considering the specifics of military service, the nature of income and benefits, as well as modern challenges and risks faced by servicemen and servicewomen. Its goal is to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills in budgeting, saving, investing, taxation, and insurance, which will help military personnel better understand financial issues and make well-informed decisions in their personal and professional lives. The course consists of twenty modules, each containing a theoretical section and a final test to assess acquired knowledge. Upon successful completion of the entire program and passing the final exam, participants will receive an electronic certificate confirming their competence in this field. This adds value to the educational process and encourages military personnel to improve their qualifications. Overall, the "Army+" app already offers ten diverse educational courses covering the most relevant topics for modern servicemen and servicewomen—from technical skills and safety to psychological support. Currently, over 70,000 military members are actively participating in these programs, with about 28,000 having already successfully completed at least one of the offered training courses. Courses such as "Unmanned Systems: UAS Basics" and "Information Resilience and Cybersecurity" have gained significant popularity, indicating a high level of interest among military personnel in new technologies and information security. This demonstrates that the modern Ukrainian army strives not only to meet Western military standards in combat aspects but also closely monitors the overall professional development and education of its units. The launch of the financial course on the "Army+" platform opens new opportunities for military personnel to self-develop and independently manage their resources. This is a step in the right direction that will undoubtedly contribute to increasing financial literacy and stability among servicemen and women, ensuring that in the future they are not only successful in performing combat tasks but also secure financially in civilian life.
