This tragic event occurred in the morning of April 25 in the village of Yarova, Lyman community, where, as a result of an airstrike, two people lost their lives — a father and his 61-year-old son. According to official information provided by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, at 05:10 a.m., Russian military forces carried out two aerial strikes on the village using FAB-250 bombs. During a direct hit on a residential building where the family was living, the 61-year-old man and his 88-year-old father sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, these people became yet another victims of the ruthless war that spares no innocent residents during hostilities. Examining the aftermath of the attack, a collection of photos provided by the prosecutor's office reveals the extent of the destruction. As a result of the strike, about ten private residential houses were damaged in the village, along with the destruction of a shop and a utility building. In addition to residential structures, infrastructure facilities were also affected, further complicating the lives of local residents in this conflict zone. Residents of Yarova have received yet another reminder of the human cost of war — in a way that is vividly etched into their memory forever. The constant strikes by Russian forces not only destroy buildings but also devastate the lives of local people, depriving them of a safe place to live and find refuge. This is yet another example of how war destroys the souls and property of peaceful citizens, leaving behind a trail of pain, loss, and ruins.
