On Friday evening, Russian occupiers once again shelled the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, bringing death and destruction

According to official sources, as a result of this aggression, one person was killed, three women sustained severe injuries, and many civilian objects came under attack. According to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration, the treacherous shelling was carried out by Russian military forces using drones and artillery systems. Targeted strikes affected several settlements in the region — Nikopol, Chervonogryhorivska, Marganetska, and Pokrovsk communities — leaving extensive damage and injuries among the local residents. Sources report that during the attack, residential buildings, enterprises, administrative buildings, shops, as well as several private houses and farm structures were damaged. The explosions destroyed not only homes but also vehicles and a gas pipeline, creating additional danger for residents. The most severe situation involved a 46-year-old man who was injured during the shelling in Nikopol. He was urgently hospitalized in critical condition, but unfortunately, medical staff were unable to save his life. In later reports, the regional head stated that the man had died from his wounds. Doctors fought for his life for several hours but were powerless against the extent of his injuries. The situation around him remains tense — Ukrainian defenders continue to fight against the enemy forces in the eastern part of the country and are doing their utmost to ensure the safety of local residents. However, attacks persist, and the civilian population is once again under fire, suffering losses and property destruction. Local authorities urge residents to stay vigilant, follow safety rules, and strictly comply with evacuation and shelter instructions. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies and the military continue working to locate and neutralize the enemy in order to prevent such tragedies in the future.
