According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, a 68-year-old woman was killed as a result of another enemy shelling. These terrible events occurred on Thursday when Russian occupiers targeted the settlement, destroying residential buildings and critical infrastructure. In his statement via Telegram, Prokudin noted: "The Russian army shelled Bilozerka. As a result of the shelling, a 68-year-old woman received injuries incompatible with life." According to the regional head, at the time, the woman was on her yard. He expressed sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased and assured that the services are already working to eliminate the consequences of the destruction. According to the Regional Military Administration, over the past day, Kherson region experienced extensive shelling: more than thirty-eight settlements, including the regional center, were targeted by Russian forces. The enemy strikes affected not only residential areas but also critical infrastructure facilities, which are especially important for the region’s population. As a result of missile and artillery attacks, several multi-storey buildings and private homes were damaged — a total of six residential complexes and eight private houses sustained significant damage. Additionally, the occupiers destroyed a pipeline, damaged farm buildings, a garage, and even a private vehicle, which greatly complicated the lives of local residents and created new problems with water supply and heat and power supply. As a result of these shellings, at least ten people in the region were injured, several of whom sustained serious wounds and were transported to medical facilities. Overall, the situation in Kherson region remains tense. Russian occupiers continue targeted attacks on civilians and infrastructure, provoking another wave of a humanitarian crisis. Local authorities urge residents to exercise maximum caution, follow safety measures, and assess the situation carefully to avoid further losses and tragedies.
