According to official data from the city authorities, there were extensive destructions and fires resulting from a missile strike or the use of other weaponry, affecting several districts of the capital. Fortunately, preliminary reports indicate five injured individuals, including a child, as well as damage to civilian infrastructure. The Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Vitali Klitschko, and the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, in their initial comments, reported on the consequences of the night attack. According to Tkachенко, as of 01:40 AM, the situation was as follows: two fires had been recorded in the Holosiivskyi district, caused by enemy strikes. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, there were four more fires, while the Sviatoshynskyi district experienced attacks at three locations, leading to the ignition of garages, separate buildings, and vehicles. The head of the KMA emphasized: "Currently, we have information about five casualties, including a child. There are reports of hits on civilian infrastructure — damaged residential buildings, cars, garages. At this moment, we advise to refrain from publishing detailed information and to seek shelter in bomb shelters. Such attacks not only cause destruction but also pose a serious threat to the lives and health of peaceful residents." He urged Kyiv residents and everyone in the coming hours to be particularly cautious and to stay in shelters until the enemy strikes cease. Rescue services and firefighters are working intensively as efforts continue to eliminate the consequences of the attacks. At present, the official authorities call on the public not to spread unverified information and not to jump to conclusions regarding the scale of destruction and casualties. It is also emphasized that residents of Kyiv should remain calm, follow safety rules, and stay in shelters until the dangerous situation is over. This night attack once again demonstrates that, unfortunately, war does not leave Kyiv untouched, and peaceful residents have to face daily dangers caused by military actions of the aggressor country.
