According to official information provided by Volodymyr Kogut, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the aggressor carried out another early morning provocation, hitting civilian targets and infrastructure objects in two districts of the city – Podilskyi and Shevchenkivskyi. Based on operational reports, around midnight, at 00:10, the attack resulted in hits on industrial facilities and open areas located near residential neighborhoods. Fortunately, no information about casualties or destruction has been received so far, but the shelling caused significant damage in industrial zones and open activity sites. Witnesses report loud explosions and sounds of passing drones, which has caused panic among residents. This night attack was not the first instance of armed aggression against a peaceful city. Earlier, "Suspilne" correspondents reported a large-scale mass attack by "Shaheds" (combat drones) on Poltava, which caused serious disruptions in the city's power supply system. Witnesses and residents note that as a result of the explosions, many areas of the city experienced partial power outages, and technical services are already working on restoring energy supply. The community of Poltava has experienced ongoing tension due to recent attacks by occupiers attempting to destroy critical infrastructure and sow fear among the population. Local authorities urge residents to stay vigilant and adhere to safety rules. However, residents emphasize that constant shelling is disrupting normal life, causing psychological stress and resource shortages. Head of the Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kogut, emphasizes that Ukrainian defenses are already responding to these attacks and gradually eliminating their consequences. At the same time, he calls on residents to stay calm and exercise caution regarding any reports about the situation in the region. It is obvious that such a tense situation requires increased attention and support from the entire country, as Poltava continues to be on the front lines of information and military warfare against the Russian aggressor. It is important for all Ukrainian society to unite and help one another during this difficult time to reduce the effects of current attacks and bring us closer to victory.
