Overall, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have managed to eliminate 1,210 Russian military personnel in this short period, which is another confirmation of the active Ukrainian military effort in the fight for sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Additionally, Ukrainian defenders have destroyed over 400 units of weapons and heavy military equipment used by Russian forces during prolonged combat operations. This includes artillery systems, rocket launchers, armored vehicles, and other types of weaponry, demonstrating a high level of coordinated actions by Ukrainian military personnel. According to official data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on their Facebook page, since the beginning of the full-scale war on February 24, 2022, and up to April 23, 2025, Russian invaders have suffered approximately 944,270 casualties. Over nearly two years of the war, each day shows a continued reduction in the enemy's forces, although these figures are constantly refined and updated. Regarding heavy equipment, more than 10,691 tanks have been destroyed during this period, with an increase of eight tanks in the last day alone. The situation is similar with combat armored vehicles, which have exceeded 22,000, with 11 new losses recorded over the past 24 hours. Another significant indicator is artillery systems, totaling around 26,774, with recent losses of 85 units. A substantial contribution to the destruction of enemy assets comes from rocket artillery—over 1,368 launchers destroyed during the entire conflict, with one additional loss in the past day. Air defense assets are also noteworthy, totaling 1,141 units, with another significant loss reported over the last 24 hours. In terms of command and surveillance systems, since the beginning of the war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 33,526 unmanned aerial vehicles at the tactical-operational level, which plays an important role in controlling and countering the enemy. At the same time, more than 45,600 units of ground mobility and transport equipment, including tankers, have been destroyed. The scale of destroyed equipment and personnel indicates a high level of coordinated defensive operations by Ukrainian forces. Despite significant losses in the Russian army, Ukrainian defenders continue to repel attacks, transforming this struggle into a prolonged military campaign that holds strategic importance for Ukraine’s future. Official sources note that the number and accuracy of the data are still being clarified; however, it is already evident that Ukrainian defense is holding on all fronts and gradually reducing the strength of the occupier.
