In Zaporizhzhia, the number of those injured as a result of the Russian airstrike conducted on April 22 has significantly increased — now it is officially reported that 38 people have been injured of varying severity

This tragic news was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, who provided detailed information about the situation on the ground in his daily operational report. According to the official, currently 13 patients are in medical facilities, including five children. A substantial number of the injured have already received necessary medical treatment; some have undergone surgeries. A particularly serious case involved a man who was brought to the hospital with a severe penetrating wound. Doctors have performed a surgical operation on him, and his condition is assessed as stable. Fedorov also noted that this missile strike was one of the most powerful in recent months — over the past 1.5 to 2 months, the city has not experienced targeted attacks with guided aerial bombs. At the same time, he emphasized that among the injured is a pregnant woman, whose condition is assessed as moderately severe. He added that the woman is receiving the necessary medical care and is under close medical supervision. It is worth recalling that on April 22 during the day, Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in one death and a significant increase in the number of injured compared to initial reports. The first reports indicated 33 wounded, but later the official figures were updated to 38. This again highlights the scale of destruction and the danger that continually looms over the peaceful population of the region, underscoring the need to strengthen defense measures and protect lives.
