This is yet another warning example of how Kremlin's aggression impacts the civilian population and regional infrastructure, leaving behind ruins and destroyed buildings. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, and data from the State Emergency Service in their Telegram channel, fires and damage were recorded at several sites following overnight attacks. Specifically, in Dnipro and surrounding communities, infrastructure facilities were damaged during drone strikes, and fires broke out at a food enterprise in Pavlograd. The head of the regional administration reported that a large fire occurred at a food production facility in Pavlograd. The FPV drone’s dome (drone operated by the aggressor) was used in attacks within the Mezhivska community of Synelnykove district, which resulted in infrastructure damage. Additionally, in the Pidhorodnenska community, located in Pidhorodnensky district of Dnipropetrovsk region, dry grass and outbuildings caught fire due to drone attacks. A dacha house was also damaged, confirmed by photos and local authorities’ reports. The situation has also worsened in Kharkiv region. Preliminary data indicates that enemy drones targeted a multi-story residential building in Kharkiv, causing certain apartments to be destroyed and infrastructure damage at the site. The regional military administration reported that this attack was carried out by drones, and the consequences are still being clarified. Another area of concern is Novopavlivska community, where Russian forces used carbines (KABs). Details of this attack are being clarified; however, it is already known that infrastructure objects suffered damage. At the same time, in the city of Marganets in Nikopol district, a shelling with heavy artillery caused destruction again, with minor casualties and no injuries reported. Overall, according to the State Emergency Service, on April 20, the occupiers also targeted a multi-story building in Kivsharivka settlement of Kupiansk community. A fire engulfed 36 apartments across 1,600 square meters. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident – the building was uninhabited, so human casualties were avoided. This wave of destruction once again underscores the brutality of Russia’s aggression and its capacity to destroy not only infrastructure but also the homes of Ukrainians. Local authorities and rescuers continue working in intense conditions, taking all possible measures to mitigate the aftermath of shelling and the damages inflicted, which deal a colossal blow to the peaceful life of fellow citizens. The war persists, and each day presents new challenges for Ukrainians fighting for their right to live in peace and safety.
