Zelensky addressed Ukrainians with heartfelt words of faith and hope for a bright future: “It will come sooner or later, life will prevail” — with these words, President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated all compatriots on Easter, which is celebrated simultaneously across different Christian denominations and unites the Ukrainian people in their pursuit of peace and renewal

In his message, published on Facebook, the leader outlined the deep spiritual significance of Easter, emphasizing that evil has its time, but goodness, the victory of life, and bright beginnings will eventually prevail. "Evil has its hour, but God has His day," Zelensky quotes this historical wisdom, adding that the foundations of this idea are rooted both in Christian faith and in the story of the Savior. According to him, this message instills belief that, despite 1,152 days of full-scale war, Ukrainians remain united in their goal — to defeat evil and restore peaceful life to Ukraine. "We are united in this great test, and our hearts are joined in prayer for our well-being and future," he emphasizes. On this festive day, when Christians of different denominations celebrate Easter simultaneously, Zelensky reminded that it is precisely during this time that the Ukrainian nation repeatedly proves its invincibility. "We are all fighting together for our country, praying together for Ukraine, and together we believe in a future without war, fear, and destruction," the President declared. He also expressed hope that this day will mark the beginning of a new era for Ukraine — an era of peace, goodness, and mutual harmony. "Let the hour of evil end, and let the day come when peace prevails again, the day of Ukraine, a day lasting a century. We will be able to gather once more, around the same table, in a truly peaceful Easter — a holiday symbolizing resurrection and hope for a better future," Zelensky concluded his speech, calling on Ukrainians not to lose faith and to look into the future with optimism.
