A severe traffic accident occurred in Vinnytsia region, resulting in the deaths of three people and leaving many others injured
The incident took place in the evening of April 19 between the villages of Ukrainiske and Shevchenkove, Kopyhorodska territorial community. According to preliminary information confirmed by the Vinnytsia Oblast Police, 50-year-old Renault driver, a resident of Mogelev-Podilskyi district, failed to react in time to the road situation and veered into the oncoming lane. As a result, he collided head-on with the microbus, which was driven by a 36-year-old resident of Vinnytskyi district. The consequences of the accident were tragic: the driver of the car died at the scene, and two microbus passengers, aged 27 and 54, died during medical assistance at the hospital. In addition, eight more microbus passengers were injured at the scene, including minors—a 12-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl. They were transported to medical facilities for necessary treatment, and their condition remains under medical supervision. The details of this traffic accident are still being clarified, with investigators working on-site to establish all circumstances of the event.
