Zelensky Responds to Putin’s “Easter Ceasefire”: The Armed Conflict Continues
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky strongly condemned the missile attack by Russian kamikaze drones that occurred on the eve of Easter, calling this provocation a clear testament to the true attitude of Russian leader Vladimir Putin towards celebrating Easter and human life. He shared this information on his official Telegram channel, emphasizing that the airspace over Ukraine remained tense during the attack. According to Zelensky, "regarding another attempt by Putin to play with people's lives — currently, air raid alerts are sounding across Ukraine. At 17:15, Russian attack drones were detected in our skies. Ukrainian air defenses and aviation have already begun working to protect our citizens." The head of state highlighted that the "kamikaze" drones used by the enemy — unmanned aerial vehicles — are an example of the Kremlin's true attitude towards Easter and human life in general. Viewing this situation in context, it becomes yet another confirmation that Kremlin's claims of a "Easter ceasefire" are merely diplomatic maneuvering.
