According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on April 20th, most of the country will experience variable cloudiness; however, precipitation will not be predominant. Only in the western regions is a short-term thunderstorm with rain possible, while the rest of the territory remains under more or less clear skies. The temperature range during this period is pleasantly comfortable: daytime temperatures will warm up to 19-24°C, providing ideal conditions for celebrations and walks. At night, meteorologists predict temperatures will fluctuate between 6 and 11°C, so it is advisable to prepare warm clothing for the early mornings and evenings. In the Carpathians and on the seacoasts, temperatures will be slightly lower—around 13-18°C—typical for coastal and mountain regions. Weather conditions are largely influenced by a predominantly southeastern wind, blowing at speeds of 5-10 m/s. In the western regions, the wind will be moderate and coming from the southwest, adding a special flavor to traditional festive events. A notable feature for Kyiv residents will be variable cloudiness without precipitation, creating favorable conditions for city celebrations. The temperature in Kyiv will range from 9 to 11°C overnight, rising to 22-24°C during the day. Overall, Ukrainians can expect quite favorable weather for celebrating Easter. Although short-term thunderstorms may occur in the western regions, most of the country will enjoy clear and warm weather, allowing festivities to take place in comfortable conditions. It is worth remembering that weather conditions can change, so it’s advisable to take raincoats or umbrellas with you to avoid disrupting the festive mood due to unexpected rain.
