In response to a series of informational speculations regarding the military status of former Head of the State Fiscal Service, Roman Nasirov, the military unit A0139, where he was mobilized as part of general conscription, officially announced that he has undergone a relevant military medical examination and received a conclusion stating that the public figure is fit for service in support units
At the same time, the explanations note that Nasirov’s actual mobilization likely never took place due to the cancellation of the relevant order by the authorities. According to the official response from the unit to a request from hromadske, the Military Medical Commission (VLK) recognized the former official as suitable for service in military support units — in particular, in the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC) and Service (SP), military training centers, medical and logistics units, as well as communication, operational support, security, and other structures. However, the response emphasizes that it is unknown where Roman Nasirov is currently located after the cessation of his mobilization measures. Regarding the conscription process, the military unit stresses that the order for Nasirov’s mobilization was canceled in accordance with current legislation, including the government resolution from May 16, 2024, No. 560, which regulates the procedure for conscription during mobilization. As a result, the circumstances of his actual conscription are considered null and unfulfilled. Furthermore, at the time of this information's publication, service investigations initiated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are ongoing. The unit assured that during the investigation, they receive all necessary and complete information for their work, and the leadership of the military formation firmly maintains its position of unwavering dedication to defending the country and zero tolerance towards any manifestations of corruption. The background of these events began on April 9, when it became known that the former head of the State Fiscal Service, involved in the “gas” case connected with ex-deputy Oleksandr Onyshchenko, had mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the eve of court hearings at the High Anti-Corruption Court. Reports indicated that Nasirov, who was recently under investigation in a criminal case, also planned to serve in a sappers unit. However, later, the Military Law Enforcement Service announced that the order for the mobilization of Oleksandr Nasirov had been canceled, and the ongoing internal investigation into his mobilization continues. The former official later commented on this situation, stating that he voluntarily joined the military, motivated by a reassessment of values and a desire to contribute to the country's defense. He added that he wore military uniform for only three days, until he received a notice of his dismissal, which he characterized as a strange precedent carried out under external pressure and political motives. Thus, the situation surrounding Roman Nasirov’s mobilization remains the subject of several contradictory and ambiguous reports. The official position of the military units indicates that his mobilization order was canceled and that no actual conscription process occurred regarding him; however, the details of his further whereabouts within the military structures remain unknown. Investigations are ongoing, and the official stance emphasizes their policy of zero tolerance towards any violations and abuses during the mobilization process.
