According to the State Emergency Service, the enemy strike caused significant emergency consequences for the city and its residents. Rescue services reported that on that evening, the widespread enemy drones reached a private enterprise involved in the storage of household goods, and as a result of the attack, a large-scale fire broke out. The event is part of the ongoing continuous Russian aggression against Ukrainian cities and resources. This time, the enemy launched a drone attack of unknown type. Although the official type of the drone has not been identified, the aftermath of the attack was felt by local residents and civil protection services. Preliminary data indicate that the target was warehouses with flammable materials located at the private enterprise. Due to the large amount of combustible substances, the fire quickly spread, covering an area of over 700 square meters. Rescue workers responded rapidly to the situation. On the scene, 50 firefighters and nine units of equipment were involved, including fire trucks and water tenders. Thanks to their efforts, the fire was promptly localized and extinguished. Firefighters worked around the clock, making maximum efforts to prevent the fire from spreading to other facilities and residential areas of the city. Vice-inspectors and representatives of the State Emergency Service released video footage and photographs from the scene, showing the aftermath of the attack and the scale of the fire. The images demonstrate the destructive power of the strike and — importantly — the level of work carried out by the firefighting teams, who can be considered true heroes of this night. According to the press release of the State Emergency Service: "A total of 50 firefighters, including those using a ladder truck and water tenders, worked to eliminate the consequences. The fire was brought under control, and the safety situation in the city significantly improved." It is also emphasized that, as a result of the drone attack, there are no data on human casualties or destruction of residential buildings; however, the situation with damages remains tense. Local authorities and rescue services urge residents to remain calm and follow safety recommendations. They emphasize that civil protection services continue to operate in an enhanced mode to recover as quickly as possible and prevent new emergencies. This incident underscores the very complex and tense situation around the defense of the Mykolaiv region and demonstrates that the enemy continues to use innovative combat tools to increase pressure on Ukrainian infrastructure. Ukraine and its civil protection forces remain on the front line in the fight for safety and stability, and every meter of this battle demands effort and courage.
