In the coming days, Ukraine is expected to experience stable, dry, and warm weather with minimal local clearing and short-term showers only in the western regions

According to synoptic services, on Friday, April 18, most of the country will warmly welcome sunny, clear skies, with rain affecting only Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. During the day, a brief rain with thunderstorm activity may occur in these areas, adding contrasting light and shadow. Temperature forecasts for this day range from 19 to 24 degrees Celsius, creating a pleasant spring atmosphere. It is expected that dry weather will prevail across the entire territory of Ukraine. Along the western borders—Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk—short-term showers and thunderstorms are possible, especially during the daytime. Winds will predominantly come from the southeast at speeds of 7–12 meters per second, adding a light breeze to the atmospheric flows. At night, temperatures will drop to 7–12 degrees Celsius, while during the day, air will warm up to comfortable 19–24 degrees, with coastal areas reaching 15–20 degrees. The capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, will remain under sunny skies, with no rain manifestation expected. Winds there will shift from the southeast at speeds of 7–12 m/s. Night temperatures are expected to range between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will be around 21–23 degrees. According to data from the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the record warm April 18 occurred in 1920, when the temperature rose to 25.1°C, while the coldest was in 1895, with a nighttime low of -4.7°C. On Saturday, April 19, the weather will mostly remain clear, with no significant precipitation expected. During the night, brief showers may occur in Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. During the day, short-term showers and thunderstorms are possible in the western regions and coastal areas, adding to the festive atmosphere. Winds coming from the southeast, fluctuating between 5 and 10 meters per second, will make the weather somewhat breezy but without any significant adverse conditions. Night temperatures will stay within 7–12°C, while daytime temperatures will remain comfortably warm at 19–24°C. In the western regions and coastal zones, temperatures will rise to 15–20°C, creating favorable conditions for outdoor recreation or walks. Thus, in the upcoming days, Ukraine remains in a warm and dry atmosphere, offering residents the opportunity to enjoy a truly transparent spring mood. The slight rain in the west adds an element of surprise, but overall, the weather favors active outdoor activities, gentle walks, and joyful gatherings outdoors.
