According to him, the main goal is not just to adopt the relevant decisions but to ensure their prompt execution at a convenient and appropriate time when the need and real opportunities for this arise. The Head of State specifically mentioned this in his address on April 16, during which important words were spoken about further cooperation with international partners and the internal work of the government in this direction. Zelenskyy emphasized that recently, a dialogue took place within the Ministry of Defense regarding the communication strategy and joint efforts with European allies to support Ukraine in the military sphere. The agenda includes preparing a new support package and developing a more modern and resilient security architecture. This includes specific mechanisms concerning the functioning and scale of foreign contingents in Ukraine. The country’s leader pledged that the Ukrainian side would do everything possible for the swift coordination and implementation of political decisions—exactly when it is appropriate and convenient from the perspective of the security situation and internal processes. It is important that these decisions are put into effect considering the actual state of events and are focused on providing maximum effective support. Additionally, on Wednesday, Ukrainian diplomacy actively discussed upcoming weeks of work and potential contacts with international partners. Among the planned activities are meetings in Ukraine, intensive diplomatic efforts in European countries, establishing close relations with the United States, and coordinating with other states willing to support Ukraine in its security challenges. The President also reported positive progress in intergovernmental cooperation with the American side on concluding a treaty on economic partnership. Zelenskyy noted that the main legal issues are nearly resolved, and if the process continues to progress as quickly and constructively, this agreement could bring long-awaited economic benefits to both countries—as well as to Ukraine and the United States. Overall, the head of state emphasized the priority of rapid and coordinated work for the sake of Ukrainian security, national stability, and economic development, with a focus on diplomatic activity and strategic partnerships.
